# GD Difficulty Index

> GD Difficulty Index is an unofficial Geometry Dash reference for comparing level difficulty on one shared compound scale, from Stereo Madness through current top-ranked demons.

Difficulty values are estimates rather than exact measurements. A value such as `100 x` means a level is modeled as approximately 100 times harder than Stereo Madness. The scale is multiplicative, combines several community ranking sources, and may include manual adjustments. Rankings and source data can change over time.
